Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. All classes are supervised by certified instructors, and we teach techniques in a controlled and disciplined environment. The focus is on self-control and respect, not aggression.

Karate offers numerous benefits, including improved physical fitness, enhanced focus and concentration, increased self-confidence, and the development of discipline and respect. It's a holistic practice for both the mind and body.

Students progress through a series of colored belts (Kyu ranks), starting from white and moving up to black. Belt promotions are based on periodic examinations where students demonstrate their proficiency in katas, techniques, and kumite (sparring).

General

We generally recommend children start from the age of 5. At this age, they have developed the necessary motor skills and focus to benefit from our classes. However, we assess each child individually and welcome you to bring them for a trial class.

For your trial class, comfortable athletic clothing such as a t-shirt and track pants is perfectly fine. If you decide to enroll, a traditional white karate uniform (Karategi) will be required, which can be purchased through our dojo.

For beginners, we recommend attending classes at least twice a week to build a strong foundation and maintain momentum. Consistent practice is key to progress in karate.
